Observation

2)c) There was a loose cord underneath the computer station in the Early Preschool classroom. 2)c) The cord to the CD player in the young toddlers room was not secured as some of the tabs used to secure it were broken. 2)d) In the older toddler classroom (2's) there were several plastic bags that were partially full of pull ups and diapers in the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom the children use. The lock on the cabinet was broken and thus, the cabinet could not be locked. Thus, the plastic bags were accessible to children in care. 2)d) In the Early Preschool classroom, there was a plastic bag in an open backpack in one of the children's cubbies that was accessible to children. There were also plastic bags in the storage drawers under the classroom sink that had puff balls and other art supplies in them. The storage drawers were not secured and thus, the plastic bags were accessible to children in care. 3)g) There is a riding toy out on the Pre-K/Kinder Prep playground that was missing a handlebar grip, so the metal bar end was exposed and would pose a hazard. 3)g) There is a safety gate in the infant room that is intended to block infant access to the diapering station. The safety gate hinge is broken. 5)a) There was an electrical outlet in the common area that was not tamper resistant. There was one electrical outlet in the young toddlers room, over by the exit door, that was tamper resistant at one time but the tamper resistant piece inside was not blocking the outlet. 5)b) There was a GFCI outlet near the handwashing sink in the young toddler room that was not tamper-resistant.
